My diet during training...

This is a record of what I have been eating throughout the day on my current three month training plan. This will be restarted from the 24th.


Date Eating & Training How I felt
Thursday
13th August 2009
8 am: Granola with yoghurt, glass fruit juice
11 am: half bar soreen with butter, banana
12 noon: 1 hour training session
1 pm: pint of water, tuna salad, Topic chocolate bar, cup of coffee
3 pm: cup of coffee, packet salted crisps, banana
5:30 pm: 1 hour 45 minute training session, lucozade sport
7:15 pm: For Goodness Shakes recovery drink
8 pm: Tomato and basil soup, bread. Chicken Arrabiata. Packet salted crisps.
Training at 12:15 pm & 5:30pm. Good, reasonably alert, tired after training lunchtime obviously. Looking at what I've eaten it already looks like there are times during the day where I'm not keeping the protein and carb's coming in for the later training session. Felt very good during training although was slightly bonking towards the end. Finished just in time to avoid it!

Thai green curry with prawns, glass of red wine
Away for the weekend in Liverpool. Obviously that's no excuse though.

5 jam doughnuts, coffee

Another bowl of Shreddies
Spicy pork with lemon pasta, garlic bread, 2 glasses of wine, 1 pint of Guinness
Obviously today got off to a slightly dodgy start although I wasn't complaining and there was no training so it's allowed...ok, I'm weak!
